As a rough guide, a 2.5 kW split system suits a room up to about 20 m², 3.5 kW suits 20 to 30 m², 5.0 kW suits 30 to 45 m² and 7.0 to 8.0 kW suits open-plan areas up to about 60 m². Sun, ceiling height and insulation all affect this, so we confirm the size when we inspect.

How long does it take to install a split system?
Most single split system installations are done in a day. Jobs that need a new circuit, a longer pipe run or a switchboard upgrade can take longer, and we'll tell you upfront.

Do I need a dedicated circuit for a split system?
